ABOUT

CPAC Systems is a proud member of the Volvo Group with over 25 years of experience in creating custom tailored solutions for vehicles at both land and sea. Their solutions range from embedded systems, such as sensors and data tracking to fully automated driving systems.

Sounds complicated? It is. But our goal is to make it easy for potential customers to understand what the company can offer.

INTERNSHIP

The main focus of my internship was to build a completely new website for CPAC Systems, and in turn create a new branding for the company.

This was the process:

  1. Bring the current website in WordPress up to a non-broken state (it was not in a good state).

  2. Do extensive UX-Research which involves interviewing stakeholders such as managers, CEO and other employees.

  3. Compile all data to figure out what dirction the design should take.

  4. Create three different concepts for a landing page. These concepts were presented to the managers and CEO in order to get feedback on which direction they want the design of the website to take.

  5. Compile the feedback and create a new userflow/sitemap for the new website.

  6. Design a pixel perfect prototype in Figma.

  7. Build the website in Webflow with both static pages and CMS pages.

  8. Hand over the finished website to the Director of Brand at CPAC Systems

The website is now ready to launch, but the company is still awaiting the outcome of some internal discussions before it goes live.

Because of my background in photography and film I was also trusted with photographing new content for the website and creating a new hero video.

TL;DR

We're rebranding and rebuilding their website.
