ABOUT
Indró is the name I use when I profile myself as a musician. I wanted a name that was unique, but most importantly deeply personal. The backstory is that my grandparent, who were farmers, had a small farmhouse in Southern Iceland. Instead of street addresses, all the farms there have unique names, and my grandparents' house was called "Indriðakot". But just like every other icelandic word it can be a mouthfull to say, so we usually just called it "Indró", (pronounced "Indr-oh).
THE SONG
Dawn – the beginning of something new. My debut release on Spotify.
For the cover art I wanted something that represents my icelandic roots, so I designed a minimalistic interpetation of the aurora borealis. And to bring the artwork to life, I also created a micro animated version to use as a Spotify Canvas and on YouTube.
